A mixed bag of emotions arose from this dream I
had last night.
It was some time in the future and I was part of
a small band of humans which were fighting against an army of evil
robots or mutants or mutant robots or something (not too sure...
I dont think I saw any...). There were about 20 or so of us, some
I knew, others I didn't (obviously). When we would go out to battle,
it bascially involved all of us riding skateboards around town busting
some cool-ass moves (This may have something to do with the fact
that I was playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 all night).
Anyway, during these "battles" some of
us would from, from time to time, get killed. With our dead we had
a ritual where we would bury them in the front yard of our Headquarters
place their clothing on top of their grave and set it on fire. After
a few of these, people started to lose interest in this ritual,
and left their clothes on top of the graves without setting them
on fire. I got quite upset at this, and yelled at them all. I gave
this big speech about how we mustn't lose sight of what this ceremony
symbolised and that we must stick together if we are going to survive.
Then I woke up. I knew where I was, but I still
felt really upset about what had happened, and it probably took
about 20 minutes for me to realise that it was all a dream.
